To bring people together from the local neighbourhoods, uniting them with the resources and passion of local churches and other organisations – for projects and interventions, which achieve real enhancements in the social wellbeing of families and individuals.

Our vision is to see an end to poverty, hunger and the need for foodbanks.
OUR MISSION

“There comes a time when we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in.”
– Archbishop Desmond Tutu
Our Strategy – ‘Going Upstream’
Whilst we are passionate to support people in need, we know that more needs to be done to address the causes of the problems rather than purely the symptoms.
That’s why we launched our ambitious 5 year strategy, ‘Going Upstream’, which lays out details of how we intend to work in a more preventative way; catching people BEFORE they reach crisis point and need emergency interventions such as foodbank support.
