On Saturday 14th December, we hosted our Christmas Grotto event at our Community Hub. Families were invited to attend for some festive treats, the chance to meet Santa and to pick up Christmas Eve boxes for the children. This year 103 local children received Christmas Eve boxes that were kindly packed with items such as pyjamas, socks and chocolates.
We’d like to extend our thanks to the Marine Lake Events Centre (MLEC) Project Team for helping us gather donations for the event. Their support enabled us to distribute 70 selection boxes and over 100 Christmas Eve boxes.
