Our Foodbanks are for anyone that may be in financial crisis and cannot afford food, regardless of their normal circumstances. It doesn’t matter whether you work full time, part time, claim benefits or none of these things. We help people from all different backgrounds and for many different reasons.

Absolutely not! We know that the reasons people turn to the Foodbank are usually out of their control and can happen to anyone. Our staff and volunteers are all friendly and non judgemental; they just want to help you out.

If you’ve tried to get a referral and not been able to – for example the agency who usually refers you is shut or you’re not able to contact them – you can self refer and we’ll issue you a voucher directly. Just contact us over the phone or via email before you turn up to Foodbank and we will be sure to help you out.

We will always try to offer you further support and address the reason you are at Foodbank (such as benefits or debt advice), but should you not wish to share any information with us then that is okay too.  Anything you tell staff or volunteers is completely confidential.

Yes. Although we adhere to Trussell Trust guideline on how many parcels we can give a person in a certain time, we will never refuse to help anyone who is in need. If you are struggling then just contact us or speak to your usual referrer.
