For the second year, Compassion Acts has received generous support from Argos Southport, with 120 breakfast bags donated to assist families during the summer holidays. The donation is helping to ensure that families have access to a good meal in the morning, and alleviating some of the financial burden that can be particularly challenging during school holidays.

Each breakfast bag contains a variety of essential items including; cereal, milk, juice, crackers, biscuits, and rice pudding.

Store manager Dharmesh said: “We want to give them out to local families with children who may be struggling with the half term. Our business has let us have a budget of £500 to donate to the local Foodbank and it’s great that we’re here to support them. We chose Compassion Acts as our charity and we hope that this will be distributed to families that really need it.”
