Cut down on school uniform costs

School uniforms can be expensive, often leaving families with less money for other essentials. To address this, we incorporated the Uniform Hub as part of our family of projects, aiming to reduce the cost of uniforms and cut down on waste.

The Uniform Hub accepts gently used uniform donations from local families and redistributes them to others who need them. Families can take these items for free or choose to make a small donation.

Our focus is on helping families facing financial difficulties, reducing the stigma around wearing second-hand clothes, and minimising environmental waste.

How to access uniform:

You can do one of three things:

  1. Drop in and visit our team at the Community Hub, 17a Cambridge Walks, Southport, PR8 1EN inside our opening hours and they will best accommodate your needs.
  2. Email uniformhub@compassionacts.uk with details of what uniform you require, including – name of school, items needed, sizes required and gender. Our team will then contact you and arrange for collection from our Community Hub.
  3. If you have any questions, call our office on 01704 264505 Monday – Friday 10am – 3pm.
