Compassion Acts Advice and Support

Running alongside all of our projects are our Advice & Support services.

We have Welfare Benefits Advice, and Debt Advice; both of which are staffed by fully trained advisors and are completely confidential and free.

Our Advice services are open to anyone living in our area. You do not have to access our Foodbanks or Food Pantries first; though the services are also available to clients at each of these.

Welfare Benefits Advice

This offers everything from advice about your entitlement to different benefits, to support with applications and even appealing decisions. We aim to get money back into people’s pockets, meaning they have enough to afford the essentials.

Debt Advice

This offers help to people struggling with debts, whether this is contacting creditors and arranging repayment plans, or support with budgeting. Our Debt Advice service is part of the national Community Money Advice network.
