Next month, our CEO will be taking on the London Marathon, one of the world’s most iconic long-distance races, to raise funds for two important causes: Compassion Acts and Identity Dads CIC Southport. Both organisations focus on supporting families in and around Southport.
“This is a big challenge for me as a middle-aged dad of six. Getting a place in the ballot was incredible. I’ve been following a training plan, and over the next few weeks I’ll be completing my longest runs yet, hitting 18 and 20 miles. So if you see me out on the streets during training, give me a wave!” he said.
He added: “Any support helps – even a fiver or a tenner. Every donation motivates me to keep going when I hit the wall.”
The London Marathon presents not only a personal test of endurance but also a chance to make a meaningful impact for local families. Supporters can follow his journey, keep up with training updates, and contribute to the fundraising effort via the official page: Donate Here.
With the race just weeks away, the training ramps up, and every bit of encouragement – whether a wave on the road or a donation, will make a real difference.
